Purpleheart Pencil
This pencil turned out of the attractive light to mid purple wood Purpleheart. Purpleheart is found in Central and South America. Purpleheart wood exhibits a fairly uniform grain which, turned lengthwise across the pen, gives it a well balanced feel. This wood will darken over time due to oxidation. This oxidation will only serve to further beautify the pencil as it features a satin pearl hardware finish which brings out the beautiful purple no matter what shade the wood becomes.
